Favourite Crystals

Just wondering what everyone's favourite crystals are.
Mine are Moon Stone and Lapis Lazluli. I have been working with Onyx an awful lot lately, and it has now become a favourite of mine too.

Ha. Nice list angelis--do you really own and work with all these stones?

I am a collector and Melody certified crystal healer. In fact, I feel more drawn to this art than astrology; but astrology is more "practical" as it can touch others without them being in your immediate presence.

Nevertheless, I have colelcted many, many crystal gems over the years and am always amazed by their power. It is hard to claim a favourite but there are many very powerful ones to list. Here are some of my most energetic stones:

Moldavite!! (it is a meteorite that is actually a beautiful green--it takes one to the astral plane in a blink!)

Saharah Fulgurite--when lightening hits the sand. . .need I say more!!!?

Aqua Aura -- gold heated quartz--turns brilliant blue.

Angelite (is celestite, only compressed for 50,000 more years--a deeper blue

Selenite-- stone of ascension; do not get wet as it will damage it

Iolite - stone of the shaman

Black opal - hard to get, but worth it. Very attractive!

Turquoise - to bring fresh air and wholeness

Infinite - the softest stone--the most gentle, yet powerful healing stone I've ever used

Strawberry Quartz - to take you back to ancinet Lemuria! Super sweetness elevation!

Sodalite - a study stone- great for logical and mathematical problems

Fluorite - every man, woman and child should carry a piece of this amazing aura enhancer. It fills gaps in the aura and energizes the discerning mind

Lapis Lazuli - connection the the great ancient energies--an Isis stone

Black Tourmaline - the great protector

Tanzanite - stone of magic--I guess that says it all!!!

Larimar (aka Pectolite) - soft nurturing

Cuprite - the void and the potential

Blue Goldstone - the stone of alchemy - man-made by monks in the 16th century-- retains all memories

Gaia Stone - very rare obsidian (volcanic glass) from Mt. St. Helens. Super heart opener and cord remover

Watermelon Tourmaline - Gorgeous love. Clean breeze.

Red/Blue/Yellow Tiger Eye - balancing, protecting harmonizing

The Melody Stone (aka Sacred Seven)- rare! contains Smokey Quartz, Amythest, cocaxenite, goethite, lepidocrocite, clear quartz, rutile and sometimes citrine. My melody stone loves storms! Fierce protector and spiritualizes all in its vicinity.

Danburite - stone of spirit

Pietersite - stone of angelic communication

Mohagony Obsidian - grounding, clearing, charging up the root

Nebula Stone - Transformation

Chrysocolla - an incarnation of Venus herself!

Phenacite - what can't it do!!?

Seraphinite - gorgeous stone connecting to galactic powers.

Well not all of those. But I got a nice size collection of a lot of those and working on getting all of them when I can. But I like your list as well. I just whipped up that list from my charts I had laying around so sorry about the cluter.

I like the quartz's ~ Clear and Rose mainly. I'm also partial to Jade and Onyx

Mine are ::

Citrine. Tigereye. Serpentine. Rose quartz.

I love clear quartzes with the flat sides (not the tumbled ones) and malachite - it's kind of black with green lines in.

Yes, there is something about clear quartz! It runs our clocks and computers and emits an electrical charge. I have a huge clear quartz cluster on my mantle and, I tell you, it is the best cleanser of stones I have discovered to date. I just place a smaller tumbled stone in it when it needs to be cleared and charged--and wow, the difference, compared to say, salt water baths and sun absorption, is like night and day. It supercharges all in its presence.

Malachite, indeed, is a spectacular stone full of heart and solarplexus transformative energy. (Circe works through this stone a lot with me). It aligns the personal will with the divine will, like Citrine, but does so in a subtler way. However, Malachite is very soft in essence (and on the MOH scale) so it needs to be cleansed ALOT!! Virtually after every use. But it is easy to tell when the energy is too much for the malachite because it, like Opal and Kunzite, changes colours with its moods! When it is super dirty with negative polarities of energy, the green in the malachite will usually look dull and smudgy. But, if visual inspection is not enough, all you have to do is tune in to it as it communicates effectively and it will tell you if it needs cleansing.

They are nice, arent they....

I have a piece of talc stone which is at something like 1 or 1.5 on the MOH scale. My neighbour brought it me from France. It feels all weird!
