Spending the night up in the mountains with the family. Since I will be surrounded by such pure earth energy I wanna tap into that and take it back with me (I'm thinking of a kinda cleansing and then filling up with pure energies)
What would you recomend I take, perform and why?

I recomend warm blankets, food and water.
Have you ever tried visualization. There will be times when you take everything you feel you would need and something came up and couldn't do it. There will be times when it just feels right to do a cleansing and a battery recharge and you had nothing with you.( accourding to what ever book you read) Sit and quietly invison a small ceromony.Look at what might be around you at the moment. See the beauty that will be around you the sounds. The love you have for your family enjoy all these special times together.

I agree with henny. Take in the beauty of your surroundings, the sights, the sounds, the smells. Weather permitting walk barefoot and touch the leaves and the trees and breathe deeply. I envy you - I could really do with some quality time in a forest somewhere. Have fun.

Camping by the ocean sounds like fun. Fall asleep to the sound of the water. I hope the weather is nice for you.

I just got back from a sort of 'camping' weekend at a hot springs I used to go to, to attend a Pagan Festival. THIS time I stayed in a dorm but int he past I did camp. Took the usualy camp stuff, tents, sleeping bag, food and so on. BUT a few special objects to meditate with. The most important this was, an open mind to accept what may, or may not, present itself.
And a diary.

We had three nights out. Rained off an on. Kids had a ball, made lots of new friends.
MIL came with us. Her dementia is getting worse. Thought the tent trailer was a motor home, kept looking for the steering wheel. Had no idea who I was most of the time. She took several walks that required her to be located. We could have stayed longer but decided to come home early.
