I know that when it comes to choosing your craft tools, it is best to get those that calls to you in some way.
Now I really like my crystals and stones, and when ever I see them I always take a look.
Here is my question, can you have too many of one type? The things is recently I have been really drawn to Rose Quartz and I have no idea why. I now have about three pieces.
Any ideas? Or do I just like this crystal?

I agree that Ebony is the one to ask. I have several pieces of rose quartz myself. 2 fairly large ones and a half-dozen small polished stones. I have an attraction for them and in this case I know what they are. I have others that I have not identified as yet, because they had some attraction for me. A couple I have identified since acquiring them and now think - no wonder I was attracted to it. I am in the process of learning more about them myself, and appreciate all the information I can get. Thank you Luna Cat.

Aw, gee whiz, thanks WS and Carolina. *blushes*
Luna to answer your question simply, no, you can never have too many of any stone or crystal. In fact, most of the time, when I find a new stone, I get 2 or more. I may want to use them for different purposes, or maybe someone else needs one!
If I counted, I'd probably find at least 10 Rose Quartz around here. Some I have in a star shaped glass dish with many other stones, and it feels good just to run my hands through the stones for a quick burst of energy. This is the dish my granddaughter plays with when she's here (she knows no one touches altar stones)
I have a few pieces of Rose Quartz on my altar that are programmed for for specific purposes. And I wear one in my amulet bag. Oh, and carry an extra one in case I find someone that needs it.
Rose Quartz is a powerful stone that promotes peace and happiness, and gives established relationships an extra boost.
As a Chakra stone, Rose Quartz stimulates the heart chakra. A balanced heart chakra holds patience, structure, stability, security, groundedness, and manifests your dreams.
Since you are attracted to Rose quartz, you are either very emotionally healthy, and in a happy relationship. OR, you are insecure, frustrated, and looking for a happy relationship. ;D

Thanks Ebony! You know when I got my first rose quartz I was Frustrated in my relationship - never Insecure. I am very attracted to this crystal. I did know it was for Love when I acquired it, but not much else. Anyway I have become much less frustrated with Husband and many changes have occurred. I think the crystal is part of the solution. It certainly invokes Peace.
