My family are among the many skeptics out there that do not believe in our "mumbo-jumbo" and scoff and laugh at me if I happen to mention healing with crystals and herbs. But I proved a point last month...
My sister's dog, Chelsea, became very sick two weeks before Christmas. Her red blood cells were diminishing by the day and the count was so low the vet did not expect her to live more than a few days. Chelsea kept hanging on though, and gave my sister hope that her baby was going to beat this illness somehow.
(Note: For my Christmas gift to certain family members, I gave a small crocheted bag to keep their favorite stones in. I gave stones to a couple people as well.)
So, back to Chelsea... My daughter and I decided we would show our skeptical family members the power of healing with crystals. We took a Tibetan Healing Crystal and I crocheted a little pouch around for it, and tied it to Chelsea's collar. During the night, Chelsea had opened one of the gifts I had under my sister's tree - a pouch of stones - and was laying on the stones and would not get off them. She could feel their energy!
The day after Christmas my sis took her baby to the vet, expecting bad news. The vet was in shock - Chelsea's blood count was almost in her normal range! The vet called Chelsea his Christmas Miracle ---
My sis and her little Cocker Spaniel are doing just fine....

Ebony - that is a wonderful story and a great testimonial to the power of crystals. The thing I liked the best is that the dog opened up one of the pressies containg crystals. ;D
Thanks for telling that.

That's a lovely story, with a happy out come On oserving animals in the wild some scientists have noticed that some creatures (mostly in the ape family) will pick up cirtain rocks - for what seems to be no good reason, but after a while the creature shows signs of improvment. Some will also eat cirtain herbs tomake themselves better. I wish I could give you a sourse for this. I read it ages ago in some random magazine.
