This past weekend, I have experienced something I never expected to deal with.
To begin with, I have dealt with spirits and the like, and luckily, I seem to only attract good or mischievous ghosts. My friend's house has several such spirits, some who play the piano and open (or close) doors, hide things, etc. They've never been mean or hurt anyone, and are just another part of the family.
While watching a movie at my friend's house last Friday night, I began to hear a strange sound--almost as it someone was playing a horrendously bad trumpet solo. I began to listen closer, and hear phrases and individual words, though it sounded mumbled and I couldn't make out what was being said.
When I brought this to the attention of my friend's younger brother, he replied that he had heard this "girl" singing everyday, at around four o'clock in the afternoon for almost a week. I figured she was harmless, although I had a slightly foreboding feeling. As we went back to watch the movie, she grew louder and louder. I assume she was glad we had noticed her and when we turned our attentions away, she missed being noticed. She eventually grew so loud as to wake my friend from a deep sleep.
After a while, we all begin to get a bit freaked out from hearing the same thing for so long, and my friend's brother went off to get their father. When the father came into the room, he turned off all of the loud electronics (TV, AC, and anything else making noise) and we all heard her sing again, this time a bit quieter. He looked around, and could not find anything making the noise we heard. Let me tell you now, there are no houses closer than 100 yards to my friend's house, and there's no one close by who owns a trumpet. (They know the neighbors quite well.)
When their father decided finally to go to bed, we turned the movie back on. She grew loud once again, and her words were still unclear. We begin talking of ways to get her to quiet down some so that we can get some sleep. I suggested just asking her to be quiet, and she answered with a clear and emphatic "NO." At this point, I have gotten an absolutely terrible feeling, one of sheer evil, and I being to sob uncontrollably.
My friend and I begin to call on the elements for protection. At this, she gets angry, and her voice moves from between us to over us. First, she came and stood behind me, singing and making me feel absolutely terrible. Then, she moved on to my friend, and began shaking the picture hanging over her head. We could hear it thumping against the wall, and I could see it moving, even with my contacts out. When we asked my friend to move to the floor, the thumping and moving stopped; however, her singing grew louder, and she began to move through the house.
This is getting rather long, and though it's not the end of the story, I feel that it should be enough to get an idea of the night we suffered through. I'll check back every couple days or so, and if anyone wants, I'll type up the rest of the story. It's not something I'll forget anytime soon, so...
