I was wondering if anyone here has summoned darker forces such as demons and how you feel about such practices.

i have attempted, but it was way back when i was a newbie to practice so i am holding off untill i feel i have sufficient energy because it didnt go well then

I was wondering if anyone here has summoned darker forces such as demons and how you feel about such practices. Seeing as I don't believe in demons, in the godly sense, it wouldn't enter my head to summon them. The only 'demons' that exist, in my opinion, are the ones in our head. Sometimes it's necessary for me to summon up my subconscious 'demons' in order to deal with my personal issues...but that is all. |

Many years ago I had a concept of demons and dark forces.
But then I realized that demons are minions of Satan, and Satan for that matter are Christian concepts.
As I grew in my understanding, I discovered that God/Satan, Angels/Demons are only our own representations of the divine energy and the potential it presents.
To call forth a demon or an angel is use the energy to shape an entity based on some concept within our own sub conscious mind.
That is not to say that one can not "create" a demon, because it is possible. Just as it is possible to use this entity to harm or attempt to harm others.

Actually demons have not been invented by xtian mythos seeing creatures from early pagan beliefs such as amit, and apep of the ancient egyptian faith but I do agree statement watershield.
