Does anyone have the gift of being able to "feel"energy from objects or people?
I always had a very good judge of character, and didn't think it was out of the ordinary. But as I grow older, I realize that it is a gift and it is developing more as I get older.
Now, I find myself looking at something and can instantly tell you where it's been or who has touched it.
Does anyone else have this?
No, I am NOT crazy. In fact, I tell very few people about this, since it does SOUND crazy.

I can feel the energy coming off plants, trees, the sea, the moon and sun, rocks, people and animals ~ anything natural really...even soil ;D I'm a pretty good judge of character too. Now, I find myself looking at something and can instantly tell you where it's been or who has touched it. Could you explain this a little further, as I'm not sure what you mean? Do you mean household objects, items in a store, natural objects found in the countryside? Does this knowledge come to you in the form of visions, or is it more of an audio thing? |

It is actually quite random when I have these energy feelings. It can be walking down the street and seeing a bicycle, a person, or in the store and seeing a coat or a pair of shoes someone has tried on. It happens with animals, clothing, jewelry, houses, rooms, blankets...it's very random and I have no control over it..it just HAPPENS. When I go to a thrift store, it is incredible. What is this called? Or is it called anything at all? Perhaps it's just getting more fine tuned as I grow older? My husband thinks I'm nutz.....  I don't, however, get anything from the earth or plants..interesting. |

What is this called? Or is it called anything at all? You said you could instantly tell where an object has been or who has touched it. Do you actually see faces and places when you touch these objects? For instance, if I handed you an object, would you be able to describe to me where I got it from and from whom? If this is the case, you could be a psychic, or a psychic medium. Or, is it just a case of you picking up positive and negative energies from the people who have handled the object? |

I guess it would be more like picking up the energies from the people wh have handled the objects. It is almost like in sections, where I would see a "flash" of the person or people and the immediate situation they were in, in one particular moment. And I can "feel" their emotion (scared, anger, laughter, sadness) from that moment.
Doe that make sense? It's the only way I know how to put it into words.

This sounds like a very interesting ability. I am an empath, being able to feel people's emotions. I'm beginning to see auras around people and nature. I don't get premonitions or visions though. Not really sure if I want to. feeling peoples energy is quite enougth.

I get a feeling from places I am in like a house or room. I have always been able to feel energy from objects or places.
I also feel energy from plants and crystals. I get a tingling feeling or a throb when I place my hand over them. That is how I choose a crystal to work with for meditation. I also chose my Hematitie necklace that way. There were four to choose from and only one that was for me so I bought it.

I can sometimes tell if a home has been happy or not, I dont know how else to say it but I feel uncomfortable in some buildings and really o.k. when I enter others. We're house hunting at the moment and I've been in some georgeous houses, but they just dont feel right, but I've been in others that are less perfect and I am instantly 'at home' does that make sense?

I have a friend who sends it to me all the time when he is thinking about me. He sends me nudges when he wants make sure I am thinking about him. lol The thing is I can feel his energy around me all the time, to the point of I can feel his arms around me, a kiss, a gentle touch. The thing is he can do the same for me. So no, you are not crazy, you don't sound crazy, and you are normal. Just not everyone has the ability to do this, or more likely they are not open to it to begin with. |

Just found this thread and it was interesting so heres my comment.. I feel energy from everything around me. The trick for me is to seperate each energy source from one another so I can feel the effect of one instead of a group. I have to becareful of what I touch because I will get a energy rush and see visions of what is in the past. Makes it hard to be spontanious when I visit place. |

Yes sure I can feeling engerie from ohter around me and somtime's if I walking alone the woods than can I feeling engerie from the tree and the nature around me and somtime's can I feeling engerie from ghosts I mean with this dead people and somtime's can I see ghosts and than I feeling are cold around me I find it somtime's verry danger but I can see things what ohter people not can see but I have this already a par years and I lern to live with this it is lern and accept it is not simply somtime's but I
have accept it and I have the things below controll

I also feel energy from everything around me. People, objects, plants, animals, stones/crystals. I don't get a 'story' just a feeling and I can tell whether is is positive or negative of course. I get this energy sometimes from walking or driving past a house or place, other times from antique shops etc or by simply walking in the bush.
I have always been able to hear and smell and feel presents, that is a bit different from energies as I am able to tell a story with those encounters.
I love walking up to someone new and touching their arm and feel what they are sending me, it gives me a 'flash' of their personality so to speak - and my litte brother and now my daughter can send me a bolt of energy and I know they are thinking of me.
My daughter hates that I can't stand crowds for too long (ie: shopping centres) and now she is just realising it is the energy from so many people all at once that is overwelming, not the fact that I don't like to shop !

The wonderful thing about energy is feeling the ones you love think about you. The horrible thing about energy is when you don't feel them for a while because things are wrong in their lives. Energy can be a comforting compainion or something that is missing in your life.

I myself have had several incidents of energy manipulation. A couple times my friends wouldn't be feeling well, ether emotionally or physically. I would calm myself, and either through though or slight physical interaction transfer some of my energy to the person. I remember one day, life was getting really intense for a few of my friends, so I tryed to help. I did, a few of my first energy transfers made the persons feel better, there pain subsided or they felt cheered up. I however had to many people to try and help, some of my friends got no energy from me...and after about an hours of quietly siphoning away my energy, I passed out. I layed down and slept for half an hour. I have never napped before that. Not to mention we were in a very busy and loud mall. I woke up feeling like someone had punched me, just totaly drained.
