I really feel like I'm not getting anywhere with what I'm doing. Well my friend and I do everything together, unless it says to do alone, then we don't do it. Well we tried a spell to change her eye color and it didn't work. We did it just the way it said do it and used what it told us to use. I feel good about the way it was done and everything, but it didn't work! It's really our first spell so maybe we just need to keep working at it? Well I'm not going to give up so easy. Does anyone have any tips that will help us? We have read many books and we have studied together the whole time. We decided to get started in this kind of stuff together and when one of us stops the other will also. What I'm saying is we have each other for spiritual support. We really need help!

Well we tried a spell to change her eye color and it didn't work. Try coloured contact lenses. Seriously, that's the only way you can change your eye colour. Are you a fan of the movie 'The Craft' by any chance? That film is purely a work of fiction, although it does contain some elements of truth (pun intended LOL). There are some things that can't be changed by using magick. Eye colour is one of them. I would seriously think about forgetting practising magick for now, until you read up about it a lot more. Learn and understand how magick works. Magick isn't about the words used, it's all about the intent, focus, will and belief. Words by themselves are meaningless. Forget your 'teen witch' books and read books by Scott Cunningham, Doreen Valiente, Raymond Buckland and the Farrars.

I would also add read books by Raven Grimassi. He has one out called "The Spirit of the Witch" that is very good.
Goth is right though spells don't change eye color, hair color, your height, etc. Everything she said about spells is true. I would only add that spells is all of the things she listed to use the energy around you.
It is not something that comes to you in one night without proper study though. Just take your time..you will get it.

If you are doing spells that are attempting to change anything physical you are not going to have success.
Some people call it spell crafting, but I like energy weaving because that' more to what you are doing. Your using the energy around you and in you. Directing it toward a target to cause a change in the targets energy fields/aura.
If a person is sick, that illness is reflected in the aura. Think of it as the body is an electrical appliance. Each of our organs and parts are resisters, capacitors etc. When a parts starts to fail it electrical flow changes and causes static. If we were a TV that static would either be heard or seen on the screen. The aura is kind of like the screen in that it reflects that static of our bodies. When we send healing energy to each other, we are consciously or subconsciously attempting to flow energy to that illness to change it's energy from static or blockage to an even flow.
The color of your eyes, hair, etc is not something that is reflected in your aura. It's not something that has a distinct energy flow of it's own hence it can not be affected by the energy.
This is the mistake most people encounter when they thing "magic". It has it's limitations.

i admit to tryign the eye color changing spell. it was either the first or one of the few first spells i performed. i was chanting for hours till the candles died out and i fell asleep. it was to change them from blue to hazel. i can still recall the words off the top of my head. all night and the next morning nothing really happened but i still believed they would change. a few weeks later for like a day i noticed that the thin ring of hazel that was already in my eyes grew. my friends noticed, unaware of the spell.

Oh boy I know what you mean by feeling like you get nowhere But believe me if you want to change your looks as far as features/eye color just have it done surgically or with contacts but make sure it's something you really want not something that others want ^Did I sound like Oprah?

naughtywitch hi, sometimes magic don,t work, because you haven,t built power up enough in you. to bring about change you have scattered your power. be careful with spells they can come back on ya and kick your butt real hard. i say get one book on magic only, learn it by heart for a year or so.to many books confuse i think. cheers gregory

I apologize for opening so old a thread, but I felt the need to comment. Changing the colour of your eyes is very possible, but it takes a long time, as do many spells, and the changes are subtle at first. To change from blue to green, or brown to green is easiest, green to hazel is harder, blue to hazel is not something I have ever succeeded with, so change to green first. It took me about nine months to go from a rather dull brown, to a shiny green. My beloved is turning hers green from a lighter brown, and it has been four months so far, and only a thin band of green around the iris is visible. Prior to her confidence in colour changing, she used coloured contacts that irritated her eyes after a few hours.
