I use various colors when I meditate, do rituals, spells, and especially with candle magic. I was just wondering if anyone else does this?
Here's a list, while not complete, that I sometimes use. Maybe you have different meanings for the colors?
I'd love to hear your thoughts ......
White: purification, spirituality, healing, truth, meditation, creativity, enlightenment
Black: binding, banishing, divination, setting limits
Gray: neutrality, neutralizing negativity, loneliness, sorrow
Silver: lunar magic, psychic development, stability, working with the Goddess
Blue: peace, serenity, sleep, communication, psychic dreams, blessings
Purple: prophecy, wisdom, divination, success, psychic power, astral projection
Green: growth, harmony, prosperity, success, luck, beauty, fertility, safety
Pink: happiness, beauty, romance, friendship, female energy
Red: passion, willpower, health/healing, strength, courage, protection
Brown: grounding, balance, telepathy, Earth energy
Yellow: attraction, centering, confidence, joy, creativity, divination, unity
Orange: energy, creativity, strength, travel, balance

I use colours in my rituals, but only as a small part of it. A mood setter if you will. However if I need to do a spell, I'm not going to put of doing it for want of say, a yellow candle.

I don't do ritual in the sense of a formal process. I do use candles for focus from time to time. I stick with the colors of the elements Though I use Green for Earth rather than the Brown some use. For me green has more of the energy of life and nature.

I use plenty of colors, different ones make me feel different ways. My main use of colors is through visualization. For example: If I make an energy ball to chear up a friend (Something I do only too often) I usually visualize a burning sky blue ball and drop it on their head so they feel a little more calm about their situation and can consentrate on a way to fix their problem. Another thing I like to do with colors is take markers and color the corners and sides of my school papers with different colors after mentally cleansing the paper of any negativity. It seems to put my teachers in a better mood.

Actually yes. Im graduating a year and a half earlier than everyone else. I should be completly done by time my 17th birthday comes around in Febuary. But that could just be because I already know everything they are trying to teach me.

I have what I call a power colour - when I visualise this certain colour I feel empowered. As for actually using colours in rituals and spells etc etc - I just tend to do what feels right and appropriate at the time for me.
