I think it's a word that gets used far to often by people who really don't understand their view of what it actually means.

Speaking as a none Wiccan. If someone annoys me, I tell them. If they still annoy me I tell them again. If they start to piss me off I retaliate with harsh words. If they're still going at it I generally walk away, "never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience"- wish I knew who said that. If they follow still going at it I have two options:
1. Beat them savagely
2. Curse them

These are both viable options as far as my tradition is concerned.
However I've never really been at that point in my adult life. I've contemplated experimenting with George Bush and the possibilities of hexing. But why waste good Monks hood?
