Many years ago i did my first one on my 17th, pictures fell off the wall in the bedroom!~

Then we just did them when we could~ Some were really scarey, we were told on one that someone would die, weeks later some of my closest friends had a really bad car accident and a women who was in the other car lost her life~ Iv also seen friends going a bit strange and then to start carving names and symbols on their bodies, some have really scared me~

I never do them now and i never will~

When I was about 10 or 12, several of us were messing with a board. It spelled out a mans name and asked us to find him. (George something as I remember)
We asked where, he said in the cemetary.
My mom drove us there, and we found the grave. I remember the stone indicated he died during the big flu epidemic.

I've always felt the presence of spirits ever since. Never had any problems with them. Any time one starts to act up, I ask them to stop and they do.
Funny, I had not even thought about it until now. Just sort of a routine thing I guess.

I think these boards draw a spirit the first time they are taken out of the box. I also believe these can be positive or negative spirits.

Around 12 or 13, my sister and I each got a board (I can't remember why we each had one). Anyway, one worked, the other one did not. The one that worked we could ask anything and get an answer. Taking into account these were typical teen age girly questions ;D it was quite accurate on what it would tell us.

I never felt any negative energy or any bad vibes from whatever drove our board. Neither of us ever felt compelled to do something the board told us to do, and as far as I know no one was ever hurt by the entity that drove our board.

I did one when i was about 11. It told me i would die when I was 18. As I've made it to the ripe old age of 24, I've written them off as hooey!
I suppose if I could find the right people to do one with it would be interesting to experiment and give it another chance. I don't think a group of 11 year old girls is really the best controll group.

Ooooh, wouldn't touch one with a barge pole. You have no idea or control over what you are summoning. And I for one, don't have either the experience or expertise to handle it. No thanks. Wouldn't risk it.

Personally, I don't believe 'spirits' are called up when using the board...I believe it's more of an inner energy or intuition thing ~ coming from yourself. Much like the tarot, or any other form of divination.

I own (and use occasionally) one. I believe it is the inner energy controlling also. I have had some rather weird experiences and some very calming and peaceful experiences from them.

When used correctly - and not for a toy - it is just like using tarot or any other divination tool. It does as YOU wish it to do, using your energies. The belief of letting out demons or evil spirits and such have been associated with the Ouija but when used correctly, no harm can ever be done. I use opening and closing rituals and I must admit it is rather draining (hence why I don't do it more often !)

I do however belief in spirits but I use other forms of communications for that.

I had my experience with a ouija board in my 20's, Myself and the kid's dad were "asking" it if there were any spirits in the house the planchete (sp) moved to "yes" right away!
I got really scared, I put it away in the closet, all that night I couldnt sleep, I felt like something was watching from the closet and thought i felt a tug at the quilts, the next morning i threw it out! good riddance! I never tried it again.

When it comes to things like Ouija boards it's good to keep in mind some basic information.

It's designed to communicate with spirits. When you bring one out, that is your intent, so they do the job intended.
Generally, spirits are neither good or bad, harmful or helpful. Rather react to the vibrations of the energy encountered.

If you become scared, you throw off negative energy, usually at the spirit summoned.
If that were to happen to you, you would most likely shield and reflect that energy back at the sender.
It's reasonable to understand that the spirit does the same.

You've projected an energy filled with fear, maybe even images of things that scare you even more. When that's reflected back to you, you experience exactly what you projected.
Basically a self full filling wish.

If you are going to attempt to use a board, go into it with the image of a spirit that will be kind and helpful and I doubt you will have any problems.

I have had an experience with an Ouija Board when I was around 12 and the damn thing doesn't want to seem to go away, I was using a Ouija Board and my friend asked the stupidest question ever, "Can you show us that you are real?" Of course something fell off the wall scaring everyone, I then tried to throw the Ouija Board away but to no avail, The stupidest incidents kept happening and the Ouija Board kept coming back, I've tried burning it outside which then it started to rain, I have tried throwing it out and a racoon got into the garbage and knocked the garbage everywhere and the garbage truck refused to take our garbage, I also tried to cut it in half with a chain-saw (NOT THE BRIGHTEST IDEA >_<) for one thing I could barely lift it at that age so I had to start it against the Ouija Board which then the chain flew off the chain-saw and almost...... Well you get the point, After realizing that I couldn't get rid of the damn thing I gave it away to my friend who asked it the question, Guess it's his problem now. Anyways with Ouija Boards I beleive no harm can be done if you don't let such spirits or energys access into this world. Yet most people tend to ask it stupid questions that allow such "Spirits" or "Negative Energys" to do such things

I have had my share of little kids playing with things that in my opinion unless you know how to control your inner "power/energy" what ever each individual may call it, should not be done, but hey your told NOT to do something when you 14 and yeeah right, I can almost hear myself snickering at my mom right after she left the room and we would go again.
We never had a bought one, we always made our own, this was due to my mother I believe now knowing how tremendous the impact can be if you connect, I meant really connect, I guess its a matter of experiencing something for one self... Yes I also believe its inner power that gets the ring stone(what ever we used that day) to move, but I have felt an actual hand holding mine, soo I choose to believe that my energy is giving what/who ever the strength to do what ever it is being done. I say this like this because now this day you will not catch me doing/playing what ever you want to call it but I will not do the Oui Ja ever again, I tend to either attack or just I feel it more and thats what bothers me, but I had 2 not very pleasant experiences, and well not really want to go back to that place in my mind again.

We where 15 by then, some other older couple younger, but a big group none the less, and well playing with it and off course my cat does this funky LOUD scream...LOL and everyone runs away, I was left holding the ring by my self, and the hand felling that I lightly had before on top of my hand turned into a strong beyond words crushing my hand kinda feel, and I could not let go for a couple minutes**it felt like years** then I remembered my grandma my body my mind...my body my mind... she would chant this once in a while when she would say someone wanted in, and well I started chanting it over and over and the grip was gone and I thought I was going to go have to go in the bathroom and change my pants.

The second uncomfortable but not as bothersome to my mind, I had by now stoped playing around almost a year later but well my brother ans sister and a whole bunch the kids where playing with it on our porch, I was like one floor above, but looking down in them here and there, then for some reason my brother decided he was gonna try to call forth to show up(what ever he thought that meant) a demon, well, I yelled down to him "ARE YOU NUTS" Then again like the almost year after, ...... yeah you guessed it the cat, same cat just about same noise came out of her, well WOOHOO I was not there I was far away from it right?, nope everyone ran, but a friend thats disable, so humm I run down to get her and help her up , and right there on the yard, is a man well I think it was a man, in a dark very nice suit and I would not see his face but I saw a smile, but then I just ran with my friend and just kept saying "Oooh Nooo I don't think so I had nothing to do with this one" over and over LMAO and well I have no clue who the man was and neither anyone that was there, and after a few minutes everyone went back to check and no one was there, but this time it was 2 of us that experienced something both my friend and I saw the man, so finally they listened and have not gone there again.


Do I think it is necessarily an evil instrument? Nope I do not, we had many fun pleasant energetic days, that was great, but you bring to many people to the equation and the energy is a little more chaotic than it should(at the moment) and well there is no way to even attempt the control something if it has so much energy of so many different kinds to help it reach us. So unless I am alone or with someone I trust 100% it is a No way at all again for me.

I think the spirit summoned by the ouji board uses the energy of the communicator to move the board.

I don't know if this is definetly true but I believe that the spirits have a good connection with our own spirit but whether they can use the energy from us might be questionable but they can possess us so why can't they use the energy to control the board.

I have not had any significant message from the board which is makes the ouiji board slightly disinteresting.

Does anyone get any significant messages from it?
