What "drives" a Diviner?

Hi Everyone

This thought was inspired by another thread. I wondered when divining how many of us think they are tapping into their own subconscious (for lack of a better word) and how many think they are "consulting an oracle" or asking a higher authority to provide the answers they seek?

Is it different if one considers oneself "psychic" as to one who considers they are energy manipulators? Can both methods be used in interplay simultaneously?

If you divine, which method(s) do you use?

I wouldn't call myself a devinor by any means, but it seems to me that all things are connected by the cosmic energy.
Through that connection, it may be possible to gain insights about other people or events, past present and future.

It's the interpritation of the insight that presents the challenge.
And yes, I think the closer we are to the "issue" the more our own personality will cloud our interpritation.
