I've always know I was a spiritual person that never fit into the religions we all know well. I couldn't force my square peg into their round hole - so I didn't bother. But in the last couple of years I've felt the empty space in me it has left. I've discovered that the things I believe and hold important in life completely agree with Pagan values; my square hole is Paganism! Being such a novice and only knowing my thoughts, feelings and beliefs, my next step is looking for spiritual guidance and like-minded people to learn from and discuss things with, and I'm struggling to find who and where to go to. Is there anybody else out there who shares this issue - or can anybody offer me any advice?
Love and Light to you.

Greetings Katie, and welcome to the coven.
We have all been at the beginning of our paths, searching for how to begin. The best advice I give is -- read, read, read.
Just remember that everyone has an opinion. When you ask a question you will receive 10 different answers from 8 people; all answers are the right answer, for the person giving the advice. It IS ok to take what feels right for you and discard the rest. It is also ok to mix and mingle bits and pieces, and to rewrite something to fit your needs.
It matters not what others think and say, for ~~ In the end it is between you and your Deities ~~

Greetings and welcome I've been walking this path off and on for 30 + years and it's been my experience that the only truth is the one that you can accept as yours. There is a great deal of information contained within the various posts on the site. In addition I would recommend A Witch Alone, and Equinox. The links for both: greenwoman.proboards39.com/index.cgi/sacredways.proboards52.com/index.cgiAnd of coarse there are a multitude of books out there Weather you believe in a God, a God & Goddess, or a whole raft of Gods and Goddesses, or maybe none at all, it's totally what feels right to you. To be Pagan does not mean your a witch. And to be a witch does not mean your Wiccea. Any time you have a question, post it and we will try to help. By assisting with questions, we have the opportunity to view the question from a different perspective and through that, gain a new truth for ourselves.

Greetings Katie and a very warm welcome to the Coven~
You are about to embark on an enchanted path and i agree with the above~ Read, listen and observe~ Read everything that you can get your hands on, by various authors and paths, listen to your inner self and nature and observe the seasons and all that nature and the wildlife do to interact with each other~
This will become a life long journey of learning and discovery, have fun~
