Hi, I've been studying Wicca since 1998, but for a number of years I lost interest in the arts. Basically after college I had to focus on other things in my life. A few months ago I made the decision to return to the study and the practice of Norse Wicca. In the past I studied magic through stones, metals and poetry, so I would like to get back into that, and also would like to learn rune magic. Sadly, over the years I lost all of my notes and prayers so its going to take a little elbow grease to get most of my information back. I'm sure I'm going to have a lot of questions and hope I can come here to ask.

Thanks Yeah I've lost touch with all of my pagan friends here over the years. Everyone just moved on, you know. I live in Modesto, California and sadly the only pagan supply shop within an 80 mile area closed down some years ago so I'm left buying supplies either online or at World Market Imports.

From what I can see, at least here in North Am....many pagans are starting to go back into the closet.
Too many Christian fundies (and other faiths as well) out there causing problems for everyone.

Yeah, imo it seems like these wars have brought resentment toward pagan beliefs, and also toward atheists and agnostics as well.

About 6 years ago I had some friends (a married couple) who were wiccan turned agnostic before moving east. Other friends online of back when either became agnostic or atheists.

After practicing Wicca, I became agnostic in 2003, and 2005 I returned to Catholicism, then became a non-practicing Catholic because I had forgotten how two-dimensional Catholicism was and went back to being agnostic after attaining some stability in my life. For the past year I've been contemplating on returning to Paganism and since I started practicing again I feel a genuine fullness in my life that I hadn't felt since practicing Wicca.

So after traveling down many paths, I feel like I've come back home.
