im not a keen cook, unfortunately i see cooking as another chore, BUT i would love to be more creative with cooking & i wondered if anyone knew of any meals that would have an aphrodisiac effect..lol which herbs to use etc  |

The use of certain herbs in meals can have aphrodisiac properties: cinnamon, honey, Ginseing, basil...but usually any meal served romantically....candles, provocative dress by the cook, lots of red wine, chocolate....well that usually does the trick.

As in so many things....it's so much of what you do, but how you do ;D
I've read a number of things over the years, the authors claiming that this herb or that herb will have this effect. Most of it's in your head.
Some of it can be down right dangerous.
There is a mushroom, that when eaten will make one horny as a rabbit in spring.....about an hour later dead as dead can be.
A naked woman can be very pleasing to the eye, but add a bit of lace and she can be down right sexy! Work on stimulating the mind not the body.

Work on stimulating the mind not the body. by stimulating the mind u r stimulating the body, its all connected i know about lace & all that stuff & that wont work, just want to find some really good recipes that could possibly have an aphrodisac effect, the way to someones heart is through their stomach |

Hey! No one intended to offend. Sorry you took it that way. I personally do not know of any specific recipies but previuosly posted some herbs that are at times used for their effects. Again, I personally dont use foods or potions/elixers for these purposes as I feel when the spark is there, it is there and no help is needed other than maybe a sexy undergarmet or nightie.....of course skyclad is always better...anyway I am sorry we did not seem helpful or responsive to your inquiry. Also sorry youre having a hard time right now.

Didn't mean to come across as putting you down and was not making fun of your request.
Any time you attempt to mess with free will, it will back fire on you.
Potions can be dangerous..to easy to make poison or something very toxic. You never know what allergies you might trigger.
Seriously, if you are attempting to get some ones attention the things that work best are self confidence and caring about them and what they are interested in.
Lets take a look at this.......
What is a spell? In truth it's nothing more than a prayer. You are asking a greater power to come to your aide (directly or indirectly) to do some thing.
Greater power might suggest a God or Goddess.
But what is a God? A God is nothing more than a spirit that remains as spirit to aide others. All spirits are equal in creation. It's just that some are more aware than others. They act as our guides and will not automatically grant every request we make. If we are not ready for the knowledge, we will not be shown the truth. If we have not earned what we seek, it will not be given.
We need to have faith first in who we are and what we believe.
We need to be confident in what we do.
"magic" is not something we play with to do daily chores or win some ones heart.
Spells and ritual are a "religious" process.
