Hey everyone, im "Looking" and rather new too paganism and wicca, id have probably have to say im eclectic as i dont seem to be able to find any one tradition i have an affinity for, personally id say im a "eclectic spiritualitic observer" meaning i dont beleive in any set group of dietys or even necessarily the god and goddess, but in the elements and the "all" as being inhearent in all as a dual and singular presence

Welcome to our little group.
Sounds like you might have an interest in Animism more than wicca.

Well, my version of it is basically a belief in nature. Gods are just spirits, like us, that have been around a long time and guide mankind along this plane of existance.
To a very large degree, what ever I term as Animism will differ from what you will read about. My view is based on my personal experiences and understandings.

But thats the best source of information is somone whos experienced it, im just trying to get a wider pov on things than say, cunningham or gardener, or buckland. For example, the statment, "i beleive in nature" is a fairly obvious statment, everyone beleives in natures existance, even if they havnt actually thought of it in deffinitive terms, what is different in your idea of nature versus what is commonly known? i have the strong beleif that nature is comprised of the four elements and that one should honor all life, and that in so doing, one may harnrss the energys froom the elements and forces of nature, though my views on the spirit are as yet rather undeffined

Well, my view of nature is a tad deeper than say looking at a tree and knowing it's alive. I take a bit of a scientific look at things and consider that all things are energy. How we percieve our place within the universe is nature in a sense. We can not distroy it for it exists far beyond our ability to fully "see". Nature is aware, it acts and it reacts. Respect it and it there for us to use. Disrespect it and it will erase you. Each of us is an expression of a single aspect of the energy that is nature. While we act indipendantly we still exist within one greater entity.
