Cleansing help needed!

Hi, everyone. I need a bit of inspiration! I absolutely need to cleanse my office and also protect it from negative energy. A little background…my job is very stressful. I process welfare benefits, and by its very nature we workers are all bombarded every day with negative energy. As I’m sure you can imagine…people down on their luck, struggling to survive, and then having the negative energy of those you deny benefits to all waft in here from all directions…not to mention co-worker spats, and also my ex works in my office (and believe me, lots of negativity comes from that direction). The more I practice my craft, and the more sensitive I become, the more I am affected physically and mentally from all this negative energy that just piles up. Of course, the worse the economy becomes, the worse the situation gets. We all have too much work to do, not enough time to do it in, and honestly the higher ups just don’t get it. I used to love my job, now I absolutely dread going there every day. My health has declined. My mental focus has declined. My work performance has declined, which of course results in more negative energy floating my way.

I guess my need is threefold…one I need to do a complete and thorough cleansing, two, I need some ideas how to routinely cleanse it without being really obvious, and three, I need some ideas how to ward off the negative energy in the first place. I technically am not allowed to burn anything here, which rules out smudging/incense, but I am going to come over this weekend and smudge using a sage smudge stick (what they won’t know won’t hurt them) and perform a cleansing ritual, however, this is not something I can do all the time as I’m not usually free to run over to my office when it is closed. So ongoing-wise this will be a problem…I usually use sage incense to cleanse my home of negative energy, so this is what I am used to using, but that’s not going to be a viable option here. Maybe putting out a jar of sea salt to absorb negative energy along with charging a few crystals for that purpose and scattering them around? Although I would be a bit worried that my clients might steal the crystals (we have actually had problems with clients stealing things from our offices in the past couple of weeks, which has never happened before) and I’m not exactly financially able to keep replacing them. I have taken to wearing a tourmalated quartz pendant to work over the past couple of days, and this has helped quite a bit. I am thinking of also putting protective spells on my office door and also the phone (a lot of negative energy comes in this way by negative phone calls from disgruntled clients).

Anyone else have any ideas?

Ouch...tough job. I think one of the biggest things anyone can do is try to maintain a positive sense of being or of self.
You need to take a mental break every so often and re focus on you.
You need to stay grounded and to so, it may help to carry a piece of Hematite with you.

The only other advise I can suggest is try to remember ....their problems are not your problems. While you might be able to easy the burden that they carry, you are not going to solve it. So don't even try to pick up that weight.

I make my own cleansing spray. I steep rosemary, sage and lemongrass for a few hours. I've found steeping works better than active boiling or simmering. I then let this cool and put it in spritz bottles. Also, salt water, spritz it where you would normally sprinkle salt

When you spray it you envision all the negative leaving and being replaced with the positive.

I keep stones in and on my desk along with little things I can use to regain focus and clarity.

I would spritz your office and it's entrances (door, phone, window) every morning.

Watershield...I actually have a bracelet made of hematite beads...maybe I should start wearing it to work on a regular basis!

Khara...that's a darn good idea! I definately will be trying that...inconspicuous and if someone does walk by they'll just think I'm being anal with the disnifectant spray/air freshener!
