Most of the time, when we dream we are just sorting our feelings, emotions and experiences of the day into some order that the brain can access. Some those "today" emotions can trigger "yesterday" emotions and in turn a dream.
How we deal with people we love passing, our anger with the loss, the sadness, our regrets, these come out in dreams.
Your dream sounds like that. No hidden meaning that I see. Just your subconscious dealing with old hurts.

i am thinking after reading this maybe my mind is preparing me for letting me know that even though one passes from this life doesn't mean that their life is over. maybe??

It's been said that no one is ever really gone as long as they are remembered. They live in our hearts and in our minds.
