With Samhain not that far off now I wondered what any of you do to celebrate this Sabbat or New Year?

This year I am concentrating on the food and will have a menu that I am working on nothing fancy just something simple. I want to decorate the table as well. No doubt DH will think I have gone a little dotty but then I am a little dlotty most days. I will post the menu when I have sorted it out I may even post a pic of the decorated table as well

found this site its vegan and you may be either a meat eater or vegetarian but the fat free baking is a good way of having something sweet without the fat. sbvdesigns.com/veg/recipes/index.htm

Thanks for the link. Some of those sound tasty.
Supper last night was boiled chick peas and brown rice, with carrots, onion, bell pepper, garlic, and chili pepper.
Tonight going to be a brown bean and fish soup, with a slice of fried Polenta. Desert...fried apple, raisin, brown sugar and oatmeal with a touch of Cayenne pepper

Sounds good to me keep it going it may be hard to alter what you eat but worth the effort. I dry fry lots of things like mushrooms and onions as they soak up oil, it takes longer but is better for us.
