Long distance communication

People are always talking about being in tune with the energy or someone else and being able to "talk" to them from great distances.
For the past couple of weeks, I've been running an experiement with some friends to see if this could be done.
In one test, I saw the person I was attempting to contact and flipped and tugged her hair a bit. The next day, she indicated that her head tingled a bit but the time didn't match up, so I'm saying nothing happened.
All other attempts by me or other have failed to produce results.

So...what do you think? Is it possible? Can you do it?

I've certainly seen people through transcendental meditation in the past...

Well, one person. The girl who introduced me to it. We exchanged some thoughts, and manifested some very similar dreams.

I regard magick very much as... oh, how many times have I quote this on this site?

Suffice to say, I'll be speaking with Dion Fortune's voice when I say "magick is the art of changing conciousness at will". Whether there's the possibility of tapping into a collective unconcious or akashic record... well, it's up for debate. But it was very real to me. ;D

Oh, I should probably say, this was at a distance of some 200 miles.

(Can you do it?) yes or i was able to at one time. have not tried it in many years. at the time it came very naturally, who knows now. ... but when i was in high school this one friend and i would do it all the time. we had so much fun with it. to confirm it to our self one would ask the other it they could hear the other and the other would answer verbally. this wasn't done long distances just over of 15 miles. .. although now i do have this friend that i will think call me if you ca i really need to talk to you; and in a few hours i get a call asking what's up? everything alright? it's a weak link and not even sure there is one there as i need more com formation then a few times

I have tried this and it was a startling success. Made "contact" with my old high school best friend whom I hadn't seen or spoken to in 10 years. I connected and "suggested" she phone me. Within 5 hours, my phone rang and it was she! She said she had the uncanny urge to look me up in the phone book and call. My first question to her was when her baby was due, she was pretty shocked that I knew she was pregnant. We've stayed in touch ever since and it has been wonderful to re-connect.

A neat talent.
I think one of the main reasons I can't do it is I have so many things going on all the time, I lack the focus.
Between working and raising kids (again) I don't have a lot of quiet time right now.

Yes, I would agree. Focus and peace and quiet are key. If you've got youngins around needing attention-- that's the polar opposite of peace and quiet!

When I was teaching a reiki class last week, I remarked that reiki can be sent to anyone anywhere at any time. A lady in the class mentally sent a message to her husband to text message her. She made note of the time. A message from her husband came in one minute later. The message said that he was thinking of her and that he loved her. The lady said that her husband doesn't randomly send messages like that. I made a believer out of her. The real proof to see if happens again.

I've found when I actually am in need from one of my sisters, they will know. It can be a sign, such as a large group of crows that suddenly show up in their yard or just a feeling they get.

I've never actually tried to contact anyone at a distance on purpose, more trying not to, in dreams and such.
