We have seen a Fox in the garden and in the street he looked wonderful in the snow and in broad daylight as well. I could not take a photo of him. He looked right at me it was lovely.

We've got lots of birds as well. I put out seed for them.
Chichadee, wrens, sparrows, grossbecks, to name just a few.
Also put out sugar water for the hummingbirds. We've now got three families nesting in the yard. Emeralds, Rudy Throat, and Anna's Hummingbirds.
Even now and then we get a hummingbird in the deck (enclosed). I'm always able to pick them up to help them to freedom. This year while filling the feeder, a sparrow landed about 6 inches from me. I looked at it, said hello and reach over and picked it up. It sat in my hand for almost five minutes before flying away. It was nice to be able to gentle pet its head and show it to the grand kids
Now Racoons are somethings else. Tipping the garbage cans, tearing up the yard looking for worms. Them I can do without

I saw my first Hummingbird in Texas in October 2009. It was beautiful I have only ever seen them in museums stuffed so it was a real treat to see one flying. Also huge Dragonflies they were amazing, we get some here in England but nothing as big as the one we saw in Texas.
