What would you all say about no dreams? Not that I don't dream at all but I don't remember anything about them anymore when I wake up. I know I do since sometimes when I wake up its with the sweating, gasping, trembling, scared after effects of the kind of dream I am glad I don't remember.

A dream is something that is generated by the subconcious mind as a means of resolving experiences or situations that have taken place in our waking hours. No one will remember all of there dreams, most of us will only remember bits and attempt to string it all togeather
It's not uncommon for people not to remember their dreams at all. Learning to remember dreams is a concious act we attempt while we are only partially awake

Dreams also carry messages for lessons we are to learn in this lifetime, some are locked away in our subconscious 'til we are ready for them... ...then there are times in our lives when we've gone thru the the experiences and it's time to put the info together. When those lessons are "gone thru" either we learn from them and can move on; we then may go thru a cycle where we remember our dreams. *sheepish grin* If we go to bed after a few beers, we won't remember them Gentle Light Mollimizz

My mind still isn't made up about dead people contacting us, either through dreams or any other means. I still have a lot of thought to put into this. I have dreamt of people who have passed on though - a few times.

The human mind is a powerful tool. Knowingly and unknowingly we use our minds to shape the energy around us all the time. It's long been my view that man created the gods according to our individual needs. I think the same can be said for our loved ones that have passed. We create an entity that fits our perception of that loved one and then interact with them again according to our needs.
In most cases in time, our pain and loss fades or at least is replaced by the demands of life, and our connection with these entities fades as well.
