Remember your old pal hedge when you find a 2lb nugget won't you. (Can a 2lb nugget be called a nugget? Seems more like a chuffing big chunk to me)

Hmmmmmmm. 2lb = 32 oz @ 939.70 USD / oz = $30,070.40 USD and considering that nuggets usually sell about 1/4th of refined it drops it down to as low as $7,518.00 (could be more / less depending on grade) Nice piece of change but not enough to retire on. ;D Now try and buy it from a jeweler and he's going ask for about $1,200.00 /oz or $278,963.00. And some people have paid it.....something just not right about this sort of market. Depending on if your the buyer or the seller or the middleman.

I've panned for gold a few times in some of the rivers here in BC. Have found some flakes but it's not really worth anything much. Just put in a bottle so I can say....hey see what what I found! In spring, all the rivers and streams run heavy with water, but come late summer many dry up. If you can push over some of the larger rocks in the stream bed and find sand under it, good chance of finding gold.
You can make your own rods. Get the copper or brass from an electrical supply store. Handles (if you want them) can be made from either copper pipe or wooden handle from a skip rope.

Here is a little interpretation, I say little, in reality it turned out to be a lot! But I hope it resonates.
The gold colour is very protective colour also a healing colour often one showing high spiritual vibes. Having said that this dream feels like the hotel that also is a building is representation of the mindset & conscious thought positive, which, presumably the theme of gold that echoes throughout is a good thing. Metal detector is used as an object to look for things beneath the surface that are hidden.
So this dream springs to mind as you are looking for answers or knowledge that are concealed as well as out in the surrounding area. So it could also mean that you have been doing a bit of soul searching in your life and other areas which where the young boy comes in as a guide to lend a helping hand within this too. This sounds like the masculine sense of self stepping forward to help the balance between the masculine and feminine energies around you. Now, I know that sounds overly weird but it shows that the divine masculine and feminine are indeed working around you to assist with the situation.
The luggage clothes and equipment specific for this task indicates materialistic possessions and the sense that you have the tools right beside you ready at your disposal to do and achieve what you have decided on doing. But you've already been on this journey for a while before and have found most of what you know already. The knowledge and tools or answers, which you discovered before have made up that parcel already. This may also interlink with you feeling lost in the past too and the helping hands is indeed what you needed in order to move forward also, the gold theme is relevant as its a very good spiritual colour. Which brings to mind the answer or missing message that you've been looking for all along is within the context of this dream.
Now the numbers... ten and twelve are indeed angel numbers, drawing your attention to them. The artefact you detected as part of your path links with the hidden knowledge that you've found and is being revealed within your path, so its not longer hidden or 'missing', you've found it. and as you put the pieces of the puzzle from the dream all is falling into place. The last part of the dream is significant as its the feminine branch of energies assisting with this bit, blonde could also link in with yellow which is the warmer shade of gold, and therefore is linked with the solar plexus chakra which in turn is the one where one stores up a lot of emotions. I don't suppose you've ever heard the Victorian phrase Cleanliness is next to Godliness? Have you? as that seems to sum up the impressions of this dream.
So Kudos to you for posting this dream, hope this interpretation helps somewhat. It is a positive dream though which can mean many different interpretation, Just remember at the end of the day, it what it means to you which is the most important. What sits right, so discard anything that does not sit right.
Many blessings Snowfaerie
