I decided to use the Wicca tarot to andswer your question...
I contemplated this frequently during the day, each time I did
I would "hear" I Ching So today when I got back from the
store, my hand went to the I Ching tin instead of the tarot
I took this as it was meant to be...
Here are the results, I hope they make sense !

Pi/Holding Together (union)
The hexagram Shih is a guide to proper conduct in the face of adversity. It is inevitable that we sometimes face trials and challenges in life. How we prepare ourselves, by whom we are led, and how we conduct ourselves during these “wars” determines whether we are victorious or not. The I Ching counsels us to follow the example of a first-rate army.
A truly powerful army consists of a number of devoted soldiers who discipline themselves under leadership of a superior general. If he has achieved his position thru force, the general will not last for long and he will lose the support of his army when hew needs it the most. If on the other hand he has become a leader thru superior conduct and even-handed treatment of his fellow soldiers, then his power is well isolated and it endures.
So it is with us. Only by conducting ourselves humanely and with persevering balance can we have a genuine influence in our trying times. There is always the temptation to be led into battle by our egos, but we are guaranteed a humiliating defeat if we turn our inferiors loose in this way. A superior person achieves victory in the same fashion as a superior army: by putting his inferior emotions under the guidance of his superior emotions, and by proceeding cautiously, modestly, and with the continual goal of achieving peace and detachment.
You are advised to prepare for a trial now. Your chances of success will be determined by how you conduct yourself within and without.
If you remain alert, modest, just and independent, all will go well. If you are gentle and humane, you will have the allegiance of those around you. Advance cautiously when the time is right, and when it is not, do not allow your ego to stand in the way of retreat and disengagement.
Remember that the ultimate victory in battle comes when we regain our inner independence, our neutrality, and our equanimity. These can only be won by placing our inferiors under the leadership of our superiors. Do this now, and success will be yours
Changing line 5-Evil has come back into the open. To correct it, withdraw into stillness and contemplate proper principles. Lashing out will only compound the misfortune.
K’an/The Abysmal (water)
The image of the hexagram K’an is that of water: water falling from the heavens, water coursing over the earth in streams, water collecting itself in pure and silent pools. The image is meant to teach us how to conduct ourselves in trying situations. If we flow thru them, staying true to what is pure and innocent in ourselves, we escape danger and reach a place of quiet refuge and good fortune beyond.
K’an often appears to warn of a troubling time either drawing near or already at hand, and to counsel you not to fall into longing for an immediate and effortless solution to the trouble. When you become “emotionally ambitious”—when you cling to comfort and desire to be free of the currents of change in life—you block the Creative from resolving difficulties in your favor. What is necessary now is to accept the situation, to flow with it like water, to remain innocent and pure and sincere while the Higher Power works out the situation.
It is not that you should not act now; it is that you should not act out of frustration, anxiety, despair, or a desire to escape the situation. Instead, still yourself and look for the lesson hidden inside the difficulty. Correct your attitude until it is open, detached, and unstructured. Abandon your goals and stay on the path, where you proceed step by step, arm and arm, with the Sage.
Those whose hearts and minds are kept pure and innocent relate properly to all events, understand their cosmic meaning, and flow thru them with strength, clarity, and brilliance of pure water.
