It is unfortunate for me, that I do not tend to recall my dreams to often, and I simply slip in and out of conciousness as if it was mere seconds, and then I am awake. However, when I do dream it is incredibly lucid, and most of the times re-occuring.
The unfortunate part is that, my re-occuring dreams, are anything but pleasant.
An example would be of my recent re-occuring dream, which takes place on a Clock Tower, high in the air, which I am working repairs on the numbers.
Unfortunately for me, I am afraid of heights that are above 30 feet. So, I have this dream, and while I climb up a ladder, which is placed so workers can reach the higher parts of the tower, undoubtedly the Ladders rivets, are rusted and fall off, leaving the ladder hanging backwards, and me dangling over a great distance.
It is also unfortunate that I sleep on an Elevated Bed, roughly four feet off the ground, so when I wake up with Fall-Shock, it is ussually to dark and I cannot see the floor, and I simply lay there, completely paralyzed by my irrational fear of heights.
That is all I shall write for now however, if more come to me, I'll be sure to add them here.
As for you? Any re-occuring dreams?

Hmm...that's interesting...many times re-occuring dreams have messages in them that we need to get...as for me...only a few that have come back once or twice...some more pleasant than others...like I've dreamt a couple of times about being pregnant...which is scary....cause i'm like young and then some dreams about my mom or sister...my i'm rambling..sorry its late...must be gettin to bed...whoa irony.

I have never had the same dream twice. I have a reoccurring theme, but they come from a very real fear of mine. I think fears and phobias play a huge part in our lives - even if they're just at the back of the mind. Dream state is a perfect time for our brains to let off steam and get some of that fear out of us, and, inevitably, it's in the form of our real fears and phobias.

Lol, how great; I ACTUALLY have a story to contribute! Lol! Doesn't happen often =P
Anywho . . . early this year my best friend & I had a HUGE fight with another one of our friends because of one of many selfish things that she'd done, which resulted in my best friend & completely ignoring our ex-friend for 6 months (she did the same to us). After we stopped being friends with [ex-friend], [best friend] & I both had a lot of reccurring dreams about her. I had about 6 recurring dreams about [ex-friend] in the first 2 months that we weren't speaking.
In my first reccurring dream, I dreamt that [best friend] & I were friends with [ex-friend] again and . . . u no that feeling you get when ur on holiday & you're having so much fun that you get sad because you don't want it to end? Well, throughout the whole dream that's the feeling I had. I remember wishing (while I was dreaming) that [ex-friend] hadn't become friends with us again.
After those dreams I started to have another recurring dream. In that dream I dreamt that I was at school watching a movie with another one of my friends (not [best friend]) and we were laying on the stairs talking. My whole year level was there. [ex-friend] kept talking to me like she was trying to become friends with me again but I just ignored her and pretended she wasn't there. I'd say something to my other friend and [ex-friend] would reply & then she'd ask me something and but I'd just ignore her and continue talking to my other friend as if [ex-friend] didn't exist.
When I told [best friend] about my dreams she told me that she's been having recurring dreams about her too, only in HER dreams [ex-friend] would always humiliate her in front of everyone and all I would do is laugh at [best friend] and ditch her to become best friends with [ex-friend]. Which would never happen because [best friend] and I have been friends for 13 years now whereas [ex-friend] and I were only friends for about 3 years (and we didn't get along all of that time). [best friend] had at LEAST 10 or 12 of these dreams over the course of 5 months.
We occasionally speak to [ex-friend] now and we're fairly friendly with each other but we have no interest in being friends again. Life's really, really good right now - a LOT less complicated - and we're happy with our friendship group being the way it is. Though I am glad that I can now have a conversation with [ex-friend] now without her having to hang out with us.

Omg, that sounds SOOOOO lame. Make me sound like I'm 13 years old, lol. I'm not, I'm nearly 18! =P I swear I'm not as immature & pathetic as I sound, lol. Anywho, this happened AGES ago.

It wasn't until I had my chakras aligned and dealt with some serious emotional issues that I started dreaming with any regularity. It used to be that when I would dream (which was rarely) that I would dream the same 3 or 4 dreams over and over. I think my mind was stuck. Seriously. I had an altar ego for many, many years till I was healed with Reiki and became a healing facilitator myself. Now I dream all the time.
I don't know if this is rare or not, but I have never had a nightmare. I've had dreams that bothered me a bit but nothing that frightened me. My life was a serious living hell growing up, so perhaps that's why. *shrugs*

I had a weird one the night before last - I dreamt I was dreaming! Never had that happen to me before. I know what it's telling me though - to listen to my gut instincts.
