Hidy Hi peeps! Seems like a nice place. I also just joined the veggie boards yesterday. hehehe.
MY name is Amanda but you can call me Dark/y or Moot (or even Darly). I'll let you figure out what moot means (it's not english)!
I am 22 and born & bred in the UK. Since I was VERY young, I have been fascinated with Witchcraft and Divination but I haven't been reading stuff about it or doing any (spells, readings) for a good few years (well maybe i've done the rare shuffle of my Oracle cards) but to be honest I lost a little of my believe...I'm not 100% sure why. I think maybe its because I was younger and more naive and I believed in superstitions too much, even to the point I was dawdling with knifes when I washed pots, for example because if 2 knifes accidently cross, its suppose to be bad luck, and it became boring worrying about it. So I have pretty much dumped my believe of most superstitions but the Witchcraft, etc, I am still fasincated by and open minded about.
Over 8 years ago I actually got into Charmed and thats the closest I come nowadays to a Witchy World (of course I know its over exagerated but I don't care, I am a fan and I love to watch it anyway)... hehehe. (Anyone else here like Charmed?)...or any witch films like the Craft? Practical Magic? etc.
Well I have done spells and I have tarot cards and crystals, etc....I used to go to Markets with my dad and nana a few years ago every Sunday and I enjoyed going. There was always some stalls there that had some georgous stuff and I was always drawn straight to the tables of tools and witchery and herbs, spells sometimes, crystals and some awesome Dreamcatchers....There wasn't always many, but when they were there, I wanted a thousand quid to buy the lot! lol.....it sucked.
...oh PS I already might know a few people on here, Hedge is one....... I'm on HappyCow, anyone else on HappyCow??
