I myself am a rather busy bee. I have marching band, wind ensemble and of course homework. Lots and lots of homework. With this crazy agenda, I have little time for things concerning my magick work. I used to meditate almost everyday. Now I'm lucky if I get to once a week. I was just wondering how you guys found time to work with your spirit with all of the homework and extra curriculars?

Well, I am an imaginative, easily distracted procrastinator who is just starting high school, so I just convinced my self that on most Saturdays and Sundays school didn't exsist ;D

Haha. I'm just starting high school too, and procrastination is one of my main hobbies. Weekends are time with my dad though...

Oh wow, if you've having trouble and not in high school yet, you guys are in for one wild ride! Now, I'm no expert on energy, meditation and magic (and everything else), so I wouldn't be positive that I'm the right one to be giving advice, but I usually do stuff like this at night or in the evenings. Yes, homework, and just laziness does take over, but you just have to work it in somehow. If you're up to it, you could wake up before school starts. Get ready (you don't wanna accidentally fall asleep again), and then meditate, or practice your magic, or whatever you wish to do. =) You could also maybe o it during recess, or at night before you go to bed, or on weekends like Wolfsbane said. =) The possibilities really are endless. =D

I know! I haven't even started high school and I feel like I have no time for anything. But I do have marching band everyday this week, from 9a.m to 8p.m, and I often find myself meditating or doing like affirmations while I'm there. So already I have found a way to get stuff done...lol.

I'm about to go into my senior year in high school and it really doesn't matter whether or not I'm in school, I don't really get time because of my mother. I'm always watching my sisters or doing chores. I've taken up the role of a third parent. :/ But, I deal. I try to every once in a while to just pray and get my thoughts in order and sort of calm down with all this chaos around me. *sigh* And now that I'm a senior, my life feels so pressured. I can't stand it...

i just started my sophomore year at a new school across town. i don't know anyone there so i don't know where all the 'witchy' people are or even if there are any. its near the library so that always give me a chance to go there after school and have at their new age section. some of my books i keep with book covers on and read them in class when nothings going on. meditation time is another story. my house is so cluttered and crowded its hard to relax or do work really, sometimes i can kind of meditate on the bus once you get used to the feel. by the time i get home i'm too exhausted after catching the bus at 5:30 am and rushing to seven homework-pumping classes each day. i haven't done any spell or ritual work since my room is piled with junk with no space on the floor or desks. gahh i miss it like food..lol

I know how you feel, this year my parents decided to nag me about every little thing (except my religious choice, which I am still keeping a semi-secret) and I have to help everyone at school, and its worse since every boy I am sitting next to decideded to ask for my help all the time. And since everyone here is a devote Mormon or Catholic, and the one person who would understand moved, so I don't know if anyone would understand me. So I'm in trouble both ways (CENSORED VERSION)

I have been in School for quite some time now, and I myself am quite busy, with both my work, my Artistry (Animation to be more specific), my Love, whom is over in Mississippi, whom I frequently chat with, my friends whom I try and frequently visit.
I generally find time between hours when most are asleep, or time during the weekends.
As for you Wolfsbane, your religious choice is nothing to be afraid of to come out into the open, although people may not take it well, it is better to die standing, than to live on your knees, no?
I do know what you are going through, since I myself was in the same position you were in now, a few years back, when litterally everyone I knew was a devote Catholic or Christian, and where the only one whom would understand me, moved.
Take faith in your own flesh and blood, however. It is your parents job to nag you, because it's there way of showing that they care for you. They're looking out for your best interests no doubt, confide in them because of all people, your parents will be the ones whom should be the most understanding.
Hope that helps.

As far as everyone being a devote Catholic or Christian, if then can not be tolerate of other peoples' religious beliefs then they are not acting like Christ was said to act at all. He was depicted as a very tolerant man...like the world's biggest hippy if you will. No one was more on the free love train than Jesus...

My family is good, and as I said, SEMI-Secret. I am trying to ease them into it slowly, bring up little subjects and see how they react. Surprisingly, my parents are old hippies, so I bet they wouldn't mind. It's just finding the good timing.
My friends would probably be easy, my very best friend is open with me and I help with everyday problems, but again, school is just....akward,

I'm just finishing up my last year of high school so I've got absolutely NO time to do anything magickal at the moment. Haven't had hardly any time all year. The past few years I've been studying Wicca & Paganism & Divination & the Sabbats & Raising Energy . . . you name it, I've studied it (to some degree), lol. I'm quite proud of my eBook of Shadows. I'd rather have a handwritten one but, like I said, I'm too busy, lol.
Ostara's on Tuesday so I'll celebrate that. I've just bought a new pentacle so I'll bless that during my Sabbat ritual - assuming I don't get bored & do it tonight instead, lol.
I'm moving to the city next year for uni (I'll be 4 hours away from my parents, WOOT!) so I'll be able to do a lot more then. I've been researching what's available in the city for Pagans/Wiccans/Witches so I've got a big list of things I can do; talks I can attend, rituals I can participate in, shops to visit etc. I've even figured out exactly how far away everything is from where I'll be staying, lol. I'm all prepared! ;D

I find that if you think about what each of the seasonal changes mean ( to you more than anything) and hold that idea in your mind and in your heart, formal ritual really is not necessary.
After all, isn't it more about the intent than the deed?
