past life regression???

So...for years, I have had this reocurring dream...I wake up in my own house, walk into the hall and see a door that I have never noticed before. I open the door and go through it into a large 'other' house of many rooms. As I open door after door, the rooms are different. Mostly I have dreamed of a very beautiful house with a white staircase with polished wood banisters and large white post balls at the end. The other night I dreamed of seeing the 'door' in my house, when I went through it I was in one of the beautiful bedrooms that I often see. There were double doors and when I went to go through them, I said to myself..I know that staircase is out there, and it was.
Then, I remembered that I used to slide down the bannister when I was little. So I climbed on it and slid down. WhenI got to the end, I saw three men coming, and I realized that they should not see me cause I was a ghost. But one of the men did, and he reached out and touched my shoulder...I awoke then.
Many of the 'doors' that I go through had different scenes, some very old fashioned....some extremely fancy...but all familier.
Do you think I could be dreaming past lives???

They could be past life regression but that's not what I get from your description.
I get the feeling that these dreams occur when you are searching for answers to child related incidents.

this may be true...I had a very happy childhood, but I was adopted at 5 days old. I met my birth mother when I was 19, but she never would tell me who my birth father was...she said I wouldn't want to know...so that has always been a mystery, one that will never be resolved because she died in '99.
But, my childhood was wonderful...I couldn't have asked for more wonderful than my mom and dad.
But because these 'rooms' I am always going through seem so familier....I can almost tell you what is in there before I enter.
Like I have been there before...what do you think with this new info?

I don't know....do they? I haven't had the dream again, but I know sooner or later I will....and with this thought in my head every night before I go to sleep, maybe I san come up with the answers. I will keep you posted.
