The Harvest Festival is nearly upon us. I have been saving and drying corn husks to make corn dollys with my granddaughter. I've never done this before, but have seen websites on how its done. Has anyone made corn dollys before, and if so, do you have any suggestions on how to make the process easier than it looks?  |

I've not made them out of Corn as there is a severe lack of it where I live but I have made them out of grass.
There's a post here somewhere with a picture - I'll find you the link.
It was a rather sorry attempt visualy speaking - but the intent and meaning was there all the same - which is the important thing.

wow.....I must have really been out of it because Lunasadh has past.......0_o oh well. As long as I feel the spirit of the holiday then I think I should be good. Happy belated Lunasadh everyone ^^;;;;
