It seems i'm on another quest. As said many times, it's not that i don't believe in a God, I just strongly doubt there is one.
I think Ostara may be a time to try to find out.
I plan to go for a walk in the woods to see if I can find a place of quiet contemplation. After that, we shall see what we shall see....

Well you ain't really gotta believe in a 'God' per se, you could just celebrate the way nature is changing and Spring is here (even though here it's still snowing!).

True, but then again, maybe that's why I am a seeker. No matter how much I learn or think I've learned, I seem to have this empty spot looking to be filled.

I don't celebrate Ostara but I do acknowledge the Equinox. For me the Equinoxes ( or should that be Equini!!) are a very special time as it personifies the equilibrium in nature and the laws of balance, for me anyway. Balance is very important to me as a witch, no scrap that - it's important to me as a person. The Yin Yang is my favourite symbol. I will probably have a bonfire - which is something I always do to celebrate the festivals - there's something about being outside and making fire that just appeals to my heathen side. ;D

Ostara is an excuse to play around with cool natural dyes and eat eggs and chocolate. I haven't found a right thing to do for Ostara yet. I open my cirlce and wear pastels and play around with marshmallow Peeps. I don't have anyone to do it with but I think Ostara should be with yourself of with your family(coven/close friends/or relitives) it should brign you together I think.

Watershield. For your quest I don't know if this will help and I don't want to meddle. But for me( I would know as I am myself) I had to look really hard and never has there been a straight, forthcoming answer. So maybe ask yourself do you want to believe there is a God, one God in control of the whole scheme of things, or do you not want there to be A God who can dictate to you what your life should be about. It's very personal, I've found, taxing and almost a quest of finding out how selfish you can be and not let it get to your conscience. Anyway. My one good thought of the day, back to being mellow in green. Lots of Luv- 'let come what may, yea I will stand beside you in the Forest of Times'C~*Holly P.s. Raven aren't those Peeps just the peachiest?

What I want to do and what I probably will do are in conflict. I want to spend the day alone, maybe at the lake or find a secluded place to meditate. What I will probably do is spend the weekend with my family and be all stressed out Then again, I could slip out the back door when no one is looking and spend some time by myself...

Nothing of significance I'm sure.
PS: CH, don't be afraid to start a new thread. That way your questions won't get lost in an old post
