Having been raised jewish, I can assure you that judeo-christian beliefs are very far removed from paganism and "witchcraft". Jews (and christians, I assume) are ultimately preoccupied with monotheism. In fact, it is considered the greatest "sin" of all to worship or acknowledge any other god but YHWH. Over the centuries, judaism absorbed and incorporated qualities and aspects from other religions including hermeticism and zoroastrianism. Some judaism these days even incorporates some christian views such as "heaven and hell". However, the preoccupation with monotheism definitely sets the abrahamic religions apart from what most would call "paganism". Just as early christians incorporated their former pagan beliefs and rituals into their newfound religion, we now have neo-pagans and witches incorporating their former beliefs (christianity and the like) into their newfound religion.
