I've been hearing about these kids who display unusual talents in various areas.
Rather than post one article which may be one sided, I ask any one interested to Google the topic and read several articles.
As always, I have my opinion but I'll wait to see what your thoughts are.

Indigo and chrystal children huh!?
I've only really glimpsed at this subgect so I certainly don't speak from great knowledge. It's down to this woman ( forget her name ) that claimed that numerous children were being born whose vibrational frequencies are much higher than "normal" and whose aura's are indigo, most adults auras now are bule or violet. She claimed that these Indigo children have a higher consciousness and are easily recognised by their big, bright eyes, naturally good memory and accademic brilliance. Indigo children will bring about a great change in the collective consciousness helping us all to reach a higher level.
Chrystal children, who also vibrate at a higher frequency are recognised by their natural healing abilities and their calm, serene attitudes. Chrystal children will help us keep calm and centered when the big shift in consciousness occurs.
That's the way I understood it anyway.
I really don't know enough about this to have an opinion watersheild, though at the present moment I do tend to sway towards the "it's all a crock of shit" attitude, but that is really unfair because of my ignorance on the subject. I would be extremely interested to hear your thoughts on it though.
*is that called passing the buck or what!!??

Well, looks like you know about as much as I do.
I agree that there is likely a better explanation.
For hundreds of years, we have evidence of Savants. Exceptionally gifts kids
Rather than being extra terrestrial, which is one of the claims, it's more likely the these savants have one extra neuron firing.

As far as i understand it, these 'gifted' children were first mentioned in the 70's...Special children sent to help 'clean' humanity...I found the following extract on another forum ...
''Indigo kids are said to be extraterrestrials that we can recognize with their blue “aura”. They will survive the apocalypse that is due to arrive in the year 2012. The founder of these beliefs, Lee Carrol, is said to be in contact with an angel named Kryeon and he says he is bringing his message to earth. Personally i think its complete nonsense, telling this children they are special ( what child isnt ) and here for a special mission if you ask me is very dangerous.... Also many of these children suffer with ADHD, and just that alone will spark a whole different debate....

I honestly got the idea that these were children who were just open to "New Age" concepts and are really psychic. I think that if you look at it from an astrological point of view, this would make a little bit more sense. In this day and age, many more people are exploring new religions, Pagan beliefs and concepts, and becoming more open to metaphysical concepts and alternative ways of healing. In the same way that the planets affect us at the time of our birth, they can affect humanity as a whole, which is what I believe is going on and what these people are labeling as a "phenomenon. Whenever I look back in history I can see the changes in mass consciousness that occurred from our early beginnings. I believe that the planets have a lot to do with this, and I also believe that education, scientific advances, and better global travel and communication has assisted this higher learning we all have integrated into our systems.

WELL.I went to the site your talking about,wow i really related to it,,in every way,,I wanted to share too I have a grandson that is 4 and he keeps saying he sees pepole that we dont...he has had tw0 lifetherting experinces.and i dont know how he pulled through,but this little guy is special,,he also loves the moon and stars in a BIG way.everyone says he is a old sole,thanks for bring this to our attenetion,,I passed it on to my friend that is a teacher,,also iI have thought I"m different, some people to me are like ,they"relike rats..they go to work and home etc. etc. they dont seem to me like they dont even know what life is about,,its hard to explin..but the site explains it very well I cant wait to read it more.. RIGHT ONNNNN!!!!

I was in the "Big City" today and naturally visited my favorite metaphysical store. I glanced through a couple of their books on Indigo and Crystal children. I haven't had a chance yet to look at the websites so I'll do that as well.
From what I got out of the books, Indigo Children (now adults) were advanced academically and among the first group to acknowledge the New Age of metaphysical beliefs. These kids were very gifted academically, but more importantly, showed a high aptitude for psychic abilities. I believe these children were more psychically gifted because they were more open to the ideas being presented to them. Didn't see anything about aliens, or them being sent here for some big profound reason. Just that they are extremely gifted children that showed more psychic abilities than 'normal' kids.
The book on Crystal Children was pretty much the same, except these are the Generation 2000 kids, with most being under age 5. Again, more psychically in tune with their surroundings, showing extreme intelligence, and able to understand ideas and process information easier than 'normal' kids.
Like Cavegoddess's grandson, I have an almost 8 year old granddaughter. She is a natural with crystals, sees and talks to people that are not visible to us, is visited by dead relatives, is very empathic, and very quickly absorbs anything to do with the metaphysical. I'd call her a psychic genius, even though her academic achievements aren't the greatest.
So, as Hedge says, this could be a bunch of hooey, and just a way of selling books. I don’t think there’s any real profound reason to these kids other than as LunaRose states, people are more in to exploring different religions, Pagan concepts, alternative healing and metaphysical ideas.
And lets face it, with such wonderful people like US for parents and grandparents, how can these kids NOT be more in touch with their psychic abilities!

I went with my foster mom to go see one of her friends. Her friend was a fairy witch. She had looked at me and started asking me all these questions then told me that her suspitions were right. She said I was an indigo child. The basic idea of an indigo child is that they question the people around them, seeing all that is wrong with the world. Some people believe that they are hear to cleanse what had been polluted, getting rid of the racism and cruelty. After they are done destroying all the negativity the crystal children come and heal all the innoccence. The difference between the indigo and crystal children is that the indigo children are more bold and speak there mind no matter whos around, and the crystal children are more quiet and pollite. Indigos are worriors and Crystals are gardians. If you are still interested in learning more I suggest going to www.indigochild.comIt should explain most of your questions. I have to say that I do believe in the indigo children, and that I also believe I am one of them. Certain life experiences had made me believe that. |

RIGHT ONNNNN!!!! When I was about that age, I saw things that no one else could see also. This seems to be a more common occurance in children than people seem to realize...I've never been able to figure out what happened, but I will tell you that what happened then was so terrifying that it still haunts me to this day. (It's been speculated that I suffer from PTSD symptoms as a result) I hope that your boy's experiences are more positive. |

I have also heard about indgo crystal children, It is very interesting . I have been looking up about the topic.
