I've never liked labels either, but if I had to put a label on me, I would say that I'm a solitary Kitchen Witch

I really do not claim to be Wiccan. Eclectic Witch basically fits me I guess if a label is going to be placed on me.

Eclectic Witch: This catch-all phrase indicates that the individual does not follow any particular Tradition, denomination, sect, or magickal practice. They learn and study from many magickal systems and apply to themselves what appears to work best.
best discribes me,
second I would say Kitchen Witch.

So many witches with so many backgrounds, but for this place it's the best. Cause it makes this coven better.

I'm probably--okay I -am- an eclectic witch...but I think that labels are horrible-it divides us even more so than usual - I've been shunned from groups because I wasn't the exact "right kind" of witch...anyway I agree with angelis that being so different ends up making the coven better

especially if the witch in question is one who prides themselves of learning.

We all learn each day. So noone is a true master of anything in life.

Their loss. The fact that you're open to other ideas means that you're going to have much more experience than then in a much shorter time. Also I think that being too exclusive does open the coven to stagnation. You can't move falwards without new ideas.

Well, I am Wiccan, of that I'm sure. I suppose I'm a witch, since I do spellwork, but that's somehow very hard for me to admit to myself. And I really don't know what the problem is. Is "witch" a negative term for me? No. Is it because I'm still in the broom closet because of my job? Maybe. Is it because my grown children don't understand my path and are threatened by it? Probably. Someday I hope to be able to proclaim proudly "I am a Witch", but for now it's just a quiet whisper in my soul.

I feel like I'm following you around, Telli.
I'm an Eclectic Panentheist Witch. I believe a Cosmic Consciousness of some sort brought it all into being, and all that exists is God itself. If fits with the "All is One" idea.

Probably shouldn't follow me, pagan. Most of the time, I have no idea where I'm going, just pressing on

I don't really like labels either but we do follow a family tradition and we are now bringing our son up in that tradition. Its wonderful to have a new generation to pass on our traditions to.
