I think I would say I was a mixture of following family traditions and Eclectic with a bit of hedgewitch/kitchenwitch thrown in - I simply do what I feel is right as I wander along the path that opens up in front of me

Unless I'm blind, which I have been accused of...lots...you missed Animistic. The belief that all things contain an energy and that energy is joined making all things part and at the same time one with all other things.

Greetings Angelis...I don't normally like to put a label on myself like many others, but to give you an idea, most would accociate me with the Hedgewitch, sometimes i might add Green to that...I follow my path in my own way and in my own time guided only by my Lord and Lady.....I try to live a simple life, which can be hard and i try to see things as my ancestors would have....I love to work with nature and what Mother Earth has kindly provided me with.....Verminda...

Ummmmmmm. Nope. Totally confuddled as to what witch I am. Every path of Wicca I have read/explored just doesn't seem to fit. I am a Witch. And that is all there is to it. I will find what sort of witch I am one day. But due to lack of guidance I am still fumbling in the dark on this one. That is where you lot come in, and so far I am pretty happy using this site ;D

I guess, if I have to have a label... I'm eclectic. Same goes for me, I'd have to say.

Wow. Never thought there were this many different types of traditions.
Have not given any thought to "what" I am, only that I AM.
I see a combination of Kitchen & Celtic, so I guess I can consider myself an Eclectic ...
Great information, angelis!

I'm a Gnostic Christian Witch. I say that and everyone says 'u cant be a christian witch!' well I dunno about Modern Christianity but my branch of Christianity has no objection to Magick practises. Gnostic's believe Jesus himself was a Witch and had beliefs similar to that of Pagans. But we believe emporers and authorities edited the bible and hunted the beleivers that made this true. But Gnostic's believe in one God (The One or All) but we have a more personal understanding of 'Him'. We also believe 'He' has taken many forms and faces so worshipping other gods is basically worshipping 'Him' in another form. We don't believe it was He who said 'worship only me and no other gods'. Some Gnostic's are not like Pagans because they see the Earth as evil. Others, like myself, believe the earth is a part of God and so is sacred. I also believe men and women are equal (in fact, in gnosticism woman sometimes have more rights such as only Priestesses can initiate and teach new members) and that Jesus wasn't God in human form and He and Magdalane were married. If you've read the Da Vinci Code then you might now the basis of most of my beliefs. My laws aren't the Ten Commandments because i dont believe in the old testiment. My laws are 'Love your God with all your heart' and 'Love your neighbour as you would like them to love you'. If U have any other questions then please go ahead and ask Love and Light x x

Hope this doesn't sound too dumb, but I just want to improve my understanding of your path as you are a new creature to me : You say you believe Jesus was a witch so I am assuming that you view the miracles of Christ as an act of witch craft? or do you think there is a more scientific explanation?

U could say both. Science is the experiment of the elements but just with practical works and without summoning of spirits etc. I believe Jesus did both with the rescourses he had. I believe he healed by mixing ingrediants of herbs, plants and dirt but also with the power of Spirit too. To a Gnostic He is not a 'god' in the Celestial creator sense but more a Divine Spirit who became cyclical with the Whole God or The One and we invoke him as our Grandmaster (Highpriest) and his bride Magdalane as our High Priestess. Dont worry about asking more questions im happy to answer them Love and Light x x
