I think I'm more of an eclectic Pagan than anything else. I pretty much adapt different rituals and practices to suit whatever my needs may be. To me that's just the easiest way to go about it. However I am interested in possibly being initiated into a coven at some point.
As for deities I identify with, I'd have to say I'm partial to Hecate, Cernunnos, the Morrigan and Diana.

Over a thousand years ago, there was a group of travelers that settled in a lonely glen in the Highlands of Scotland. They became known as the Green Men, and over time, they became known as the sons and daughters of the Greenman.. That is where my surname came from - MacUaine means son of Green. We all follow a path that is within nature, and knows the Ultimate God, and the personalities of the God. I don't know what path it would be called, but we know ourselves as Bodach Uaine, or Green Men. Our rituals are in Gaelic (Scots Gaelic, not Irish) and we follow the Goddess, and Horned God. I presume there is some other name, for our Path, because we came from somewhere, to settle in the Highlands, but I don't know what it is. Since arriving here in the States, 15 years ago, I have met many Pagans who followed other paths, that have the same basic beliefs that I have.
We believe that we are here to assist things, be they people or creatures, or nature, and to live is to be close to the nature that supports us all. We aim to live in simplicity - I do not have a television, I don't use the computer much, and we don't socialize, drink, smoke or do drugs - that would make life too complex. We are friendly, outgoing people, who mean no harm, but don't turn any other cheek if harm comes to us. I don't understand the Abrahamic religions - I look at them from outside, and cannot see why anyone would follow such a controlling belief.
Currently, I am seeking more - not sure what, but the Goddess aimed me to find Pagan folk in this country, and learn about them. Hence my membership here.

I follow an eclectic pagan path, as much as I can I live in a house with four episcopalians. What I believed a year ago is different than what I believe now. A year ago I began recieving "hints and nudges" from my Goddess Isis. I've been going thru some tough times and She's helping me get thru it. When I began to get these calls, I'd feel a body rush when I read, heard, or even said Her name. When I began reading The Mysteries of Isis that confirmed my hunches. The first words in the book refered to the body rush felt when Isis was thought of or heard ! M' Lady has led me to palmistry, which outside of tarot it's the only info that's stayed in my mind since my fall. Mother Earth nurtures and sustains us, for this we give thanks. Sister Moon lends Her gentle light that we may see where we go at night, for this we give thanks. Brother Wind brings the needed rain to us, for this we give thanks. I pray to Isis and give praise to Her, I cannot wrap my head around Osiris because that is her Brother...I'm an incest survivor and can't wrap my head around it for that fact. I work spells now and the (to hurry the ssi case for example), tho I'm working on increasing my intuition at the moment to aid in the palmistry. We believe all things are connected and all are of the same energies on this planet. We should cherish and protect all that inhabit this planet to the best of our abilities. (I feel as tho I'm not getting the right words written? So I'll stop) Gentle Light Mollimizz

This is a subject that I wrestle with every time someone asks me what path I follow. All I can say is that it's a green path, and has been long before the green movement we are excitingly going through. let me start from the beginning.
When I read about the religion I was brought up in didn't believe in a lot of the beliefs I held close to me, I broke off and started to explore other branches of Christianity and other faiths. Many were about a mono-god. I just couldn't image this to be true. We as humans have two parts to create life, an in essence we are gods (to an extent). When I started reading about Earth based religions I found my calling. I studied Wicca and Druidism in private (never animal sacrifices). I started to do rituals on my own in solitary.
I met some great pagans over the years and I've met some holier-than-thou ones (I guess there really is a few in every religion). I met a lady who later became my "sister", who helped me get in touch with my native blood.
So, to further that branch of me, I have been practicing Shamanism these past few years. It is kinda hard because there are days I feel like being surrounded by Celtic items (my wedding band is adorned with Celtic designs). I feel drawn to the mountains for some unknown reason.
What I'm trying to say is that I have no name for what I practice, just what I do.

hmm, my path......
I am an eclectic pagan. I take from many different places.
Some of the most basic beliefs I hold are as follows:
Balancing the dark and light aspects of yourself is the only way to feel at peace with yourself.
Different dieties are simply aspects of human nature. They each live within us all.
When calling on a diety I am calling on those characteristics of myself.
I try to be as logical as possible.
When you die you go through reincarnation. After all the reincarnation stages are passed, you assend to another being. Assentions happens many times because there are many different stages of being. (This belief of mine gets to be very complicated).
Dont ignore your basic instincts, cause they are there for a reason.
umm, I dont know how to explain my beliefs any better.

Hmmmmm....... what is MY path? My path is to try and find a path that will help me FIND my life-path. I don't really know what I believe in. I want to learn things so I can find this out! I want to be smart like you smart people are (lol). I want to learn about meditation, using energy, healing, finding my passed-life, herbs, stones, Sabbats, history, auras, wicca, druidism, the deities and what to do with them, rituals, spells, how it all works. All of these things I've just unblocked recently (somehow, last year is "recent"). I'm gonna be studying a lot. I have found enough questions, now to find answers! I don't know, honestly. I'm just going wherever the road leads me.
