Lots of people get premonitions and deja vu, and sometimes when a loved one passes on we can still feel them around us during times of stress. This can be very comforting. Maybe it would help if you kept a dream journal? Each morning when you wake, write down any dreams you might have had throughout the night. It's good to keep a record, because it means you have a reference for any future events that might occur. Write down every detail of the dream because details are important, and can sometimes get forgotten long after the dream.
Welcome to the Coven Mintcookie! ;D

Welcome and enjoy the path you are on. I am a Druid not Wiccan but we all have the same Pagan beliefs, so if you are truly willing to learn, may i suggest a simple task that was givin to me many, many years ago. Pack a light lunch and wear good hiking boots, take along a personal item that you are willing to part with[it can be anything from a cd to a comb as long as it is something you use, or is important to you]. Find the nearest river, lake, stream or wooded area. Sit down and eat your lunch, but leave a little for later. Let your mind ease and enjoy the scenery, look at the wild life, imagine your ancestors at this spot, say a little thank you to the Mother Earth for all she has ginin you and leave the redt of your lunch for the wildlife to enjoy[no wrappings though],. Now take your offering that you brought and if you are at a river, place it gently on the water and let the current take it away, if you are only in a wooded area bury your offering and leave it there. When you can do this and walk away without regrets, you are ready to start your path to Paganism. AWEN

Greetings and welcome
Being new means nothing. Being here means you have an open mind. I look forward to reading your posts and questions.
Join in the discussions and ask questions, go with the answers that feel right for you. You are an individual on a path to gain a knowledge that can be true to only you.
While I am not a Druid, I will say that they can be very helpful to you in seeing which path is right for you.
Riverman had a very good suggestion for starting out. But be sure to reflect on each action.
After you have done this, and that night, after you have gone to bed, lay quite. Shut out every sound around you. In your mind say.. I ask my guide to come to me. Guide me and give me council. From there, try to stay calm and go with the flow. They may not come night 1,2,or 3, but they will come if you believe they will.
The form they come in will depend on your path. Be open and attentive. Listen with your heart as well as your mind.

Hey Mint. You said you did what Riverman suggested, but now your confused. Did you experience anything? If you don't want to discuss this "in front of the world" you can always email me or PM me for a private discussion on the topic.
