Red

If ever I have a dream that takes place inside a building, the interior is all red. The walls will be red, the furniture will be red, the carpet will be red. The only thing that isn't red are materials made out of metal or wood. The wood would mostly be black, and the metal would be gold (or black as well, it depends on the building. A nice building would have gold, whereas a not-as-nice buildings would have black). Now, i don't mind my dreams being painted red because red is my favorite color, but I do have to wonder why it keeps showing up. The red is a deep scarlet, or crimson, like blood-colored.
Usually in these dreams, there is a character that plays my love-interest, but not always. Any ideas on what the red might mean? Does anybody have any dreams that strongly feature a certain color? I also notice that characters in the dream will wear colors that have to do with red. One character will wear Green (the opposite of red), or Orange, or etc. That might not be important, but it makes me wonder.

First you must consider what this color means to you. I don't think anyone else can give you a clear meaning.

Red is also the color of danger, shame, sexual impulses and urges. Perhaps you need to stop and think about your actions

Well, yes, I know that only I can figure out a dream's meaning for myself. I'm currently on a search to find what the color means to me. I was just wondering if anybody has anything to say for it. It's kind of how I figure things out, I listen to other people's words until I hear something that makes my mind go "lightbulb", or until it does the same thing by itself. I'm a gatherer, what can I say? lol. Anyway thanks for the reference material. It'd probably be a lot easier to figure things out if I had somewhat of an idea what the color Red means, just maybe (lol). Just, red is freakin' every where! I wouldn't be surprised if it was in my dreams just because I look at it so much, haha!

In my dreams, they are usually really random or so important I focus on the important parts. I never really noticed the colors of buildings and such, except for once.
Now, it was really private so I am not going to say, but red usually means strong emotions and anger for me, considering there was alot of red and when I was woken up I nearly broke someone's hand! Anger+Fighting Skillz=VERY BAD FOR OTHER PEOPLE!

I know this must sound SO original, but red makes me think of blood before anything. Like.. bloodcurdling cries of rejection, shame, and self-anger. I don't know, I guess I see Red as more of a sad-anger rather than an... angry-anger... wow, I must sound so dumb! Lol. Or just deepness itself.... ohh... I'm nowhere near close to saying that i know what i'm talking about! Adkjfhaskjdhf. Apparently, I haven't gotten any lightbulbs yet. :/
