Thanks Hedge!I too follow the Celtic magick, which I use to do eclectic wiccan, but was called by Goddess Brighid! Since searching my Celtic background more, this is where I am, though I still do other magick. I also have Kwan Yin and others. I also am learning about Tuatha De Dannon, which were the Fae people! If you check back in your background you can find some one related to them, going into the Fae world!
I have always been drawn to the faeries for some reason??

in reading this post i have notice a lot of my family traits as well as mine own. kind of neat
(Spirituality is of primary import to Celts,) this is so true in my family; Spirituality is important we have a good tolerance of other
(respect for faeries, elves, pixies) I have always had this from childhood to now, and no logical reason for it either. my heart tells me one thing my head tells me another. each time i have come apon a fairy ring i would go around it never could bring myself to step into it or to touch any of it. i know makes no since
(daughters inheriting the mother's property upon her death.) this still goes on in my family
(herbal medicine.) this is something we strive to do first unless it is an emergency or something we can not figure our self then we look to the doctor's to tell us what is wrong and maybe or maybe not take what they suggest.
(The Celts were not a sexually repressed people, sexuality was encouraged, and women with children were paid a higher dower than virgins to become wives - so much was fertility prized. Beltane was considered a most auspicious festivals ) now i can explain to the girls in my family why having children before getting married is such a family tradition lol or being pregnant before marriage. this goes back as far as my great grandmother.
(with three, five, seven, nine and thirteen holding special significance) all these numbers but 5 have had special meaning i
through out my life
after reading this post i think i know where i like to study more.
