This is another old dream, but it is current events now. I dreamed this at night after the day of Sept 11, 2008. It was posted at the Cherokee forum, here is the post link.
Yesterday was Sept 11th, a date we all can remember. There still is the need to support our troops and offer prayers for them. Last night after going to sleep, had a dream during the night.
I dreamed about seeing the US military, somewhere to the South of my location. I'm not sure exactly what state this was in...they where getting ready for deployment to...I heard the name of the country, but don't remember it. I saw all these black military aircraft that when taking off could go straight up. I know they have one type that can go up like that, but since these were black...probably were Black Hawk helicopters.
I said, "there they go off to help out the others". Just then a lady with either light brown or dark blond hair (not sure which it was) came walking over. She was saying something and acting rather irritated or upset about the deployment. It seems she said "after all we have been through, how could this possibly be happening to us again?" I replied, "we all have been knowing that sooner or later, something like this was going to happen".
As I looked up, in the sky above were at least 2 dozen...maybe 30 military jets which had just taken off. The jets all circled around and got into flight formation heading East.
Well, I got up today thinking about the dream until turning on the 12:00 noon TV news to get the weather. Then flipping across channels heard something that really caught my attention. On TV I heard them say, "the US has just denied Israel the military package they have been requesting...a refueling jet, bunker bombs for their strike against Iran. The US has offered instead a radar system which would enable them to detect a missile with a nuclear warhead launched by Iran". It was also stated the radar system probable won't be acceptable, because all it can do is alert them before it hits.
In case you didn't know, Iran is supposed to be only 5 months or less away from having their first nuke developed. i support the troops and always take time each week to offer prayers for them. I know there are plenty of Natives who have gone to Iraq to help fight. We need to remember them in our prayers and continue to support our troops no matter what should happen in the future.

Well, because of the economic situation...many who fought in Iraq are now changing their mind and re-enlisting back into the military. They will be deployed to Afghanistan, it is easier for them to go fight again, than face economic crisis here in the United States.
On Veteran's Day I watched a news special about combat in Afghanistan. I noticed there are two types of helicopters. A smaller one (is that a Black Hawk?) and a much larger black or dark helicopter. It was explained on TV that the terrain is so rugged, this is how troops get around mostly.
College students are also enlisting, job security and benefits. Afghanistan is more of a military challenge, as Russia found out in the past. But we will have many more enlisting now than ever, because of the jobless situation.
In 2009 there are scheduled two major deployments, of thousands of troops to Afghanistan.
I had posted a link to the dream, in the 2012 thread, at the other pagan forum (was at before coming here) also.
Seems time is or was before?

When you woke up from the dream cherokeewind, what did you feel? What were your emotions doing?
I've kind of been taking a vacation from the Internet for a while....hope to have a real vacation soon.
I had this feeling after the dream...just like I was actually there. Every time I stop to think about it now, the sound of those jets taking off comes back to me real loud and clear. I feel as if it was me watching events unfold...like experiencing things mentioned in the Bible, you know...the OT prophets, etc. but now I'm able to understand that kind of experience.

I wonder what the sound means to you, what it repesents. It maybe a clue to what your are concerned so much about you dream of it. Of course it could only be a dream. A part of a 'movie' your mind was creating the way we doddle on paper.
